What I have been readingApril 2, 2013
I am still a bit sick and having a hard time getting back to work. The positive side of things is that I have gotten a lot of reading done. I hope to begin posting regularly by the end of this week, but here is an update on what I have been reading while recovering.
- How Revolutionary Were the Bourgeois Revolutions by Neil Davidson.
- The Logics of Heirarchy: Organizations of Empires, States and Military Occupations by Alexander Cooley
- A History of Future Cities by Daniel Brook
- The Relentless Revolution: A History of Capitalism by Joyce Appleby
With the exception of the Cooley book, none of them are directly related to the normal contents of this blog, but I recommend them all for their detailed research and fascinating conclusions (even where I disagree with them).
